The MAAEYC Western MA Conference is an inspiring gathering dedicated to early childhood education, where we’ll explore how culture shapes learning, how curiosity fuels discovery, and how connection nurtures growth. The conference is a space for educators to come together, share ideas, and celebrate the vital work of shaping young minds. It’s taking place Tuesday, Nov. 11 at Taconic High School in Pittsfield, Mass.

Join me for “Back to the Basics - Understanding and Dealing with Challenging Behaviors in Young Children.” This workshop is designed for Caregivers of Infants and Toddlers, Early Childhood Educators, and Family Childcare Providers. This interactive workshop explores how we can support young children grow, develop, and acquire the skills necessary to self-regulate, understand the power of their feelings and express them in appropriate words and actions, and learn to respect and value the dignity and worth of all individuals. Those are tall tasks for such tiny human beings, however, there are methods and strategies that we as educators can embrace and implement to ensure their success.
